Thank you, dear friends, for visiting our website.
TG Ballet is a professional London‑based ballet company, founded in 2006 by Terrie Tai and violinist Gloria Cheung. We are a company defined by personality, creativity, and a deep love for the art of ballet.
Despite the financial challenges faced across the performing arts industry, we continue to persevere. Each year, we work tirelessly to bring our productions to London theatres, and we are grateful for the loyal audiences who support and cherish our work.
Our repertoire spans both classical masterpieces and original creations. Alongside well‑known favourites, we are committed to presenting rare and lesser‑performed works that deserve to be seen.
Next year, we plan to stage a new original production, “The Mirror Trilogy”, inspired by three Greek myths: Narcissus, Medusa, and Venus at Her Mirror.

Our Past Performances
Step into the world of Andersen's Fairy Tale. TG Ballet's new production, ballet pantomime "The Little Match Girl", based on Hans Christian Andersen's classic story, is a chilly beautiful, heart-breaking story.
Centres on an icy cold Christmas eve in an town, the little match girl wanders the streets with her unsold matches.
As she lit the match, she sees a series of comforting visions, each vision disappears as its match burns out.
In the flame of the last match she sees her late grandmother, the only person that ever treated her with love and kindness. To keep the vision of her grandmother alive as long as possible, the girl lights the entire bundle of matches she has.
The next morning, passers-by find the girl's body with a smile on her face...
Through beautifully dance, music and atmospheric sets. Our Little Match Girl will enthral children and adults alike.
