TG Theatre Ballet is a creative, dynamic, and artistically ambitious performing arts company founded in 2006 by actress–writer–playwright Terrie Tai and violinist Gloria Cheung.
From its inception, the company has been dedicated to providing a high‑quality performance platform for talented young dancers, enabling them to appear in professionally staged productions across major theatres in the United Kingdom.
Over the years, TG Ballet has grown into a vibrant artistic community. Our dancers include graduates of the Royal Ballet School and other leading professional academies, as well as established performers from the UK, Italy, France, and Ireland. Together, they bring a rich blend of classical technique, contemporary expression, and international artistry to our stage.
Each season, we present a diverse programme of classical, contemporary, and original works in British theatres. With a repertoire that spans beloved classics and innovative new creations, TG Ballet has become one of the most competitive and artistically distinctive private ballet companies in the UK.
As we approach our 20th anniversary, we remain committed to artistic excellence and creative exploration. Our mission is unchanged: to offer audiences performances of the highest calibre, and to nurture the next generation of dancers, choreographers, and theatre-makers.
Our classical repertoire includes timeless masterpieces such as Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Don Quixote, The Corsair, and La Bayadère.
We are equally devoted to original works. The original works written and directed by Terrie Tai include: "Red, White and Blue", " The Grand View Garden", "Forging Swords ”,“The Little Match Girl”,and Pantomime "Little Star" and more.

Terrie Tai is a highly-motivated and dedicated actress, author, scenarist and director.
In the early days, Terrie was appointed as the conductor to lead Youth Choir and the Chamber Ensemble at St Martin-in-the-Fields
Then she took part in an opera company, became a member of the chorus, involved a some of performances, including "Macbeth", "Dido and Aeneas", "La Traviata", and "Die Lustige Witwe".
By chance, she also joined the ranks of writers, writing music and art
column for Chinese newspapers. During this period, she was invited to interview the world-renowned cellist Julian Lloyd Webber.
And invited by Columbia Artist Music Company to interview Lang Lang, and a series of famous musicians, etc.
Her novels "A Cantata in the Night" and "Gemini" were also serialized on newspapers and were loved by readers.
Since she adapted Shakespeare's play "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and presented it on stage with some amateur actors, there she was a change from acting to directing.
She founded TG Ballet company on 2006 with violinist Gloria Cheung, and thanks to the collaborated of some professional ballet dancers, we performing classic, contemporary and original repertoire at London theatres every year.
Gloria was born into an artistic family and graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts of Music, majoring in violin.
She was once the second violinist of the North Downs Sinfonia other orchestras. She has participated in concerts as the Royal Albert Hall and she is currently a freelance violinist.
