The original concept of TGTB was to provide a platform for talented young dancers to perform the highest quality of ballet.

TGTB has grown and now engages more dancers from the UK, Italy, France and Ireland, presented classic, contemporary and original repertoire in UK theatres every year, 

Over the past 18 years has seen the Company earn its place in the dance industry by performing, the future will to continue to be a high-quality ballet company. providing audiences with originnal, classical and  contemporary productions.

中文話劇《上海三部曲》，是改編自三部經典影視作品的濃縮劇：《色戒》，《花樣年華》,《繁花》，讓觀眾在兩個小時內，一睹不同時代的上海故事，人物，色彩，風格...

"Lust, Caution" was originally a novel by the famous Chinese writer  Eileen Chang,  and was adapted into a movie by the renowned director Ang Lee. 

The movie caused huge repercussions and controversy internationally.

"Ring" represents love, and the female main role, her name is "Wang Jia Zhi". and "Jia Zhi" and "Ring" have the same pronunciation in Shanghai language

Wang Jia Zhi fell in love with the enemy,  and showed her life just for a ring for love. This is the ultimate meaning of this story.

To be honest, the film is filled with a lot of sensitive scenes that obscured the significance of the story itself. It also resulted in an actress being banned, and she did not work for three years.

The story takes the Chinese Anti-Japanese War as the background. Shanghai fell in 1938 and was ruled by the Wang Jing Wei regime. University student Wang Jia Zhi joined the school drama club. 

She had a crush on student leader Kuang Yu Min and followed him to become a spy...

Our adapted play, does not contain any sensitive scenes and is suitable for family audiences

 《色戒》原是中國著名作家張愛玲的小說，由著名導演李安改編成電影。

這部電影在國際上引起了巨大的反響和爭議。

“戒指”代表愛情，而女主角的名字叫“王佳芝”，上海話中“佳芝” 和“戒指”發音一樣。

王佳芝愛上了敵人，為了愛情和一隻戒指，而付出了全部身心和生命, 也出賣了她曾經的愛和她的同伴。

坦白講，李安的電影充滿了許多敏感的場景，而讓人們忽略了故事本身的意義，還導致一名女演員被封殺，三年沒有工作。

故事以中國抗日戰爭為背景。 1938年上海淪陷，由汪精衛政權統治。大學生王佳芝加入了學校戲劇社。她暗戀學生領袖鄺裕民，追隨他成為特工…

我們改編的話劇，不包含任何敏感場景，適合家庭觀眾。

Agent leader Lao Wu came to Shanghai from Chong Qing, and Shanghai Drama Club, also is a agent group, the leader Kuang Yu Min, 

They come to the Shanghai Peace Square to mee. Lao Wu  gave them the task of assassinating the agent leader Yi Mo Cheng.

After the students made a hasty plan, the action began.

特工領導人老吳從重慶來到上海，和鄺裕民接頭，並交給他們暗殺特務頭子 易默成的任務。

學生們草率計劃後，行動開始。

某地下監獄

Yi Mo Cheng has just ordered the killing of a prisoner in this secret prison. Director Zhang informed him some bad news, Yi Mo Cheng felt that dangers is also approaching him.

易默成在這裡剛剛下令殺死了一位囚犯，張處長告知他一些壞消息，易默成也感覺到危險也正向他襲來。

The young spies have already gotten close to Yi Mo Cheng’ s wife, Mrs. Yi, she is a moocher person.

年輕的特工們已經通過關係買通了易太太的副官，這天，王佳芝走進了易公館...

一位執行暗殺的不速之客，一位是殺人不眨眼的特務頭子，他們之間的初次交鋒，將會怎樣的驚心動魄。

當易默成發現了戒指的破綻時，他講了一句上海話的“戒指”，而王佳芝以為叫她的真實名字，再也無心戀戰，找個藉口慌忙逃走...

Time flies so fast. Wang Jia Zhi and Yi Mo Cheng have been dating for a while. 

During this period, their relationship has become more complicated. They are both enemies and lovers. They cannot control their falling in love. But it's still full of murderous intent.

The day of the mission has coming,  Wang Jia Zhi and Kuang Yu Min they are meet at the coffee shop,

Kuang Yu Min has sensitively aware that Wang Jia Zhi was moving away from him. He suddenly regretted it and wanted to cancel the operation. 

But it's too late...He could have expressed his love to Wang Jia Zhi three years ago, but now it's too late

執行任務刻不容緩的到來了, 王佳芝內心矛盾的到咖啡店來見鄺裕民。鄺裕民敏感的察覺到王佳芝正在遠離他，他忽然後悔了，想取消這次行動。但是太晚了，三年前可以，現在太晚了...

The story has come to an end, and Yi Mo Cheng wants to buy the most brilliant diamond ring for Wang Jia Zhi - this gril  her name is ring, her innocence is like a diamond, and this gril softens his dark and cold heart. 

This is nothing to money, this is the highest expression of his love...

However, what made this supposedly sweet scene turn into a cold killing in an instant...

故事到了尾聲，易默成要為王佳芝買一枚最璀璨的鑽戒 - 這個名字叫戒指，純真如鑽石的女孩融化了他陰暗冷酷的心。

這與金錢無關，這是他愛的最高表達…

然而，是甚麼讓原本甜蜜的一幕，瞬間變成了冷酷的殺戮…

 In the Mood for Love, is a 2000 romantic drama film written, produced and directed by Wong Kar-wai. A co-production between Hong Kong and France, it portrays a man (Tony Leung) and a woman (Maggie Cheung) in 1962 whose spouses have an affair together and who slowly develop feelings for each other. 

The film premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on 20 May 2000, to critical acclaim and a nomination for the Palme d'Or; 

In a 2016 survey by the BBC, it was voted the second greatest film of the 21st century by 177 film critics from around the world, saying "never before has a film spoken so fluently in the universal language of loss and desire".

 《花樣年華》是著名導演王家衛的作品，於2000年5月20日在坎城影展上首映， 並獲得好評及金棕櫚獎提名；

BBC於2016 年的一項調查中，《花樣年華》被來自世界各地的177位影評人評為21世紀第二大電影：

“從來沒有一部電影，能如此流利地用電影語言，表達失落和慾望。”

電影的故事背景發生在60年代的香港，故事取自作家劉以鬯小說裡的情節，上海是王家衛一生的情意結。《花樣年華》中有濃厚的上海元素，婀娜多姿穿旗袍的女人，房東太太的上海話，老上海的爵士樂…

我們的話劇《花樣年華》的背景就改到上海

這部話劇的風格非常淡然，然後感情從這淡然中生出，又濃厚的鬱結，他們之間發生了甚麼事？

隱晦的台詞，還有他們不露面的另一半，隱藏的私情，朦朧是令人頭暈的美感。

“如果有多一張船票，妳會不會跟我一起走？” 這句經典台詞，在最後一幕牽扯觀眾的心。

Zhou Mu Yun, who works in a newspaper office, and Su Lizhen, who works as a clerk in a company, moved into this apartment on the same day and at the same time. The landlady sang "In the Mood for Love" on her gramophone.

What a coincidence...

在報館做事的周暮雲，和在某公司做職員的蘇麗珍，他們在同一天，同一時間搬進了這家公寓，房東太太的留聲機中周旋唱著“花樣的年華”。

真的好巧啊...

小巷

They come across each other at an alley on a rainy day and took shelter under the eaves. Then they talking about overtime work in the newspaper office, and the serialized novels on the newspaper...

The two gossiping landladies just come downstairs and they have a new topic at the their mahjong table.

他們在雨天的小巷偶遇，在屋簷下避雨。然後談起報館的加班，報紙上的連載小說...

兩位八卦的房東太太剛好下樓來，她們的麻將桌上又有了新的話題。

小巷

Su Li Zhen looks like have something on her mind, and so is Zhou Mu Yun. They are walking together. What worries did they have about each other?

蘇麗珍這幾天好像有心事, 周慕雲也是，他們有甚麼煩惱呢？

 Zhou Mu Yun is waiting for Su Li Zhen at the alley. He will going to Singapore for a new job. 

Su Li Zhen suddenly criy on Zhou Mu Yun's shoulder...

Of course, this scene is seen by the landlady again.

周慕雲在巷子裡等蘇麗珍, 他將前往新加坡工作。

蘇麗珍突然靠在周慕雲的肩膀上哭了起來…

當然，這一幕又被房東太太看到了。

海邊碼頭

Zhou Mu Yun will going to Singapore, before he leaving, he left a note for Su Li Zhen.

 "If there is an extra ticket, will you go with me?"

The whistle blewing, and he couldn't see Su Li Zhen. so he had to get on the boat and go away.

The ship slowly lifted anchor and started to move. Su Li Zhen appeared. she looking at the ship going away, her lonely figure standing in the afterglow of the setting sun...

周慕雲要去新加坡了，臨行前留了一張紙條給蘇麗珍。

 “如果有一張船票，你願意跟我一起去嗎？”

汽笛響了，他看不到蘇麗珍的身影，於是他只得上船而去。

船緩緩起錨，開始行駛。蘇麗珍出現了。她看著遠去的輪船，孤獨的身影佇立在夕陽餘輝裡…

Blossoms Shanghai is a Chinese television series directed and produced by Wong Kar-wai. It is adapted from the novel Blossoms written by Jin Yucheng.

The series is set in Shanghai in the 1990s and stars Hu Ge, Ma Yili, Tiffany Tang, and Xin Zhilei. It is the first television series directed by Wong.

王家衛只拍過11部電影，却部部名留影史，他這次拍了他的第一部電視劇《繁花》在中國爆紅。描述了一個特殊的黃金時代。

阿寶從一個工人，經高人爺叔指點，發家致富成為商界大亨，而當繁華落幕，阿寶看破紅塵，退出江湖...

我們演員們都要求說上海普通話，無論半咸半淡又好，還是有濃濃的上海味道。

《繁花》是一場夢，但上海人都說那真的發生過。

對 “黃金時代” 的追憶和追求，是人們愛它的原因。

In Shanghai on the 1990s, Mr. Bao, a famous successful business man,

Show up like a movie star, surrounded by fans and flashbulbs from the media.

Suddenly a car drave up, and to hit Mr. Bao and run away

What is the truth hidden behind ? So let’s we start from the story of A Bao and Xue Zhi. 

1990年代的上海，著名成功商人寶總，像明星一樣出現，被粉絲和媒體閃光燈包圍。

突然一輛車開過來撞倒了寶總，然後肇事司機駕車逃走。

這背後隱藏著甚麼樣的真相？那我們就從阿寶和雪芝的故事開始吧。

The story goes back to 1987.  Xue Zhi is a bus conductor and she called the "Flower of the Thirteenth Road bus" because of her beauty. 

A Bao, a worker of the watch factory, and he so proud with this beautiful girlfriend.

Xue Zhi promised A Bao: "If you take my bus, you will never have to buy a ticket!"

A Bao's ideal is not just about the bus ticket, his dream is to buy a car of his own.

Xue Zhi will to immigrate to Hong Kong with her family, and she will to marry a Hong Kong businessman.

Xue Zhi is leaving, and A Bao makes a bold decision!

故事要回到1987年，雪芝是一名公車售票員，因為她的美麗而被稱為“十三路公車之花”

阿寶是鐘錶廠的工人，他為有這個漂亮的女朋友而感到自豪。

雪芝向阿寶保證：“如果你坐我的公車，你永遠不用買票！”

阿寶的理想才不是不買車票，他的夢想是買一輛屬於自己的私家車。

雪芝將和家人一起移民香港，還要嫁給一位香港商人。

雪芝要走了，阿寶做出了一個大膽的決定！

A Bao knock the door of a man known as uncle, who is important, successful, and  powerful, he wants this man's help.

Uncle had just been released from the prison, uncle saw that A Bao   's courageous,  like uncle when he was young. 

Finally agree to teach A Bao how to do business, and reached an agreement to cooperate. 

阿寶敲響了一個被稱為爺叔的人的門，他要向爺叔學做生意。爺叔因經濟問題剛出監獄，他看到阿寶的膽子大，就像他年輕時一樣。

 This is a newly opened restaurant, and people are talking about it. This is a gift from Mr. Bao to a woman. The woman‘s’ name is Ling Zi, she said: Mr. Bao is a shareholder, and she is the lady boss.

 The Foreign Trade Building in Shanghai is a must-visit place for businessmen.  There is a Miss Wang there, because of her help, Po successfully made a big business deal. A Bao invites Miss Wang to Ling Zi's restaurant for dinner to express his gratitude... .

上海外灘27號的外貿大樓，是生意人必去的地方。那裡有一位汪小姐，因為她的幫助，阿寶成功地做了一筆大生意。阿寶邀請王小姐到菱子的餐廳吃飯以表達謝意…

港生

The plot becomes increasingly sinister and secrets emerge. 

A Bao turns out to be the son of a Hong Kong businessman. He has a twin brother named Adam Kam,  Their parents separated when they were very young.  Their mother stayed in Hong Kong with her brother, while their father took A Bao back to Shanghai.

A Bao and his brother have never met. This day A Bao come to his brother's company in Hong Kong.

The staff told A Bao a shocking news. Adam business failed and he committed suicide by jumping into the sea...

劇情變得越來越險惡，秘密也逐漸浮出水面。

阿寶原來是香港商人的兒子。他有一個雙胞胎哥哥，名叫金港生，英文名字 Adam Kam

他們的父母在他們很小的時候就分開了。母親和哥哥留在香港，父親則帶著阿寶回到上海,阿寶哥哥從來沒有見過面,.

這天阿寶來到了哥哥在香港的公司。公司的職員告訴阿寶一個令人震驚的消息。亞當生意失敗，跳海自殺了…

李李

熱鬧的黃河路又開了一家最豪華的餐廳 - 至真園，老闆娘是一位不明來歷的陌生女人。

幾位其他餐館的老闆娘妒忌，到至真園鬧事。

幾位師奶哪裡是李李的對手呢？

Adam was summoned by the judiciary for economic crimes such as stock market manipulation. He wanders by the seaside in the wind and rain. There is a bigger storm in his heart。

His girlfriend Chen Zhen （now her name is Li Li), persuaded Adam to 

turned theyself in to the police... 

Adam shout: Forget me and jump into the waves of the sea...

人稱 A 先生的亞當，因操縱股市等經濟犯罪而被司法機關傳喚。他在暴風雨中徘徊在海邊，他的心中有更大的暴風雨。

他的女友陳珍（就是現在的李李）趕來勸亞當向警察自首... 亞當大喊：忘了我吧！ 然後縱身跳入巨浪中 …

強總 

Another important figure in the business and stock circles of Hong Kong and Shenzhen, Qiang Mu Jie, also come to Huanghe Road to find Li Li. 

There was a secret behind them, and they discover an even bigger secret. Qiang Mu Jie plans to compete with A Bao.

另一位在香港和深圳商界和股票界的重要人物 強穆傑也來黃河路，他是來找李李的。他們的背後隱藏著很多秘密，而他們在這裡發現了一個更大的秘密。

強穆傑打算和寶總較量一番。

結局

 The story reaches its ending at the climax. There is a stock war between A Bao and Mr. Qiang. Who loses and who wins in the end?

Uncle tried his best to help Ah Bao, but Ah Bao finally quit the complicated business field. He bought a piece of land, and the land represented harvest and hope!

Uncle happy to see that Ah Bao has grown up and leaving him with satisfaction.

Ling Zi will go to Hong Kong to open a her new restaurant; Miss Wang's company is getting better. She and Ah Bao still had a five-year agreement; Li Li surrendered to the police station...

On this night, everyone is wakes up from their dreams. Good night! Everyone has a new tomorrow.

故事在高潮處轉向結局。寶總和強總之間爆發了一場股票大戰，最後誰輸誰贏？

爺叔盡心盡力幫助阿寶，但阿寶最終退出了複雜的生意場。他買了一塊地，土地代表著收穫和希望！

爺叔見阿寶已經成長滿意的離開了他。

玲子將前往香港開一家新餐廳；汪小姐的公司生意漸入佳境，她和阿寶還有一個五年之約；李李到警察局自首…

這一夜，所有人都醒來了。晚安！每個人都有新的明天。
